Harold Manchester Fleming (1900-1971) was an American financial writer and political economist. He went to the Soviet Union in 1922 as a field inspector for the American Relief Administration and worked for the Bureau of Education and as a reporter in Peking. On his return to the U.S., he was a securities analyst, stockbroker and statistician before becoming the Wall Street correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor.
